Digger’s Gold Mining Academy - Duisenburg
From Greenhorn to Gold Getter
LEARN THE GROUND. MASTER THE EQUIPMENT. FIND THE GOLD.
May 3 to 7, 2027
Randsburg, California
5 Days. Real Gold Education.
Only 20 Participant Seats. When they fill, registration closes.
Stop guessing where the gold is. Learn how to find it.
New prospectors lose gold three ways: they dig in the wrong spot, stop digging too soon, and run their equipment wrong. In five full days at the LDMA Duisenburg camp in California’s Mojave Desert, you learn how to pick your ground, test it, run it, and weigh your own gold.
What you’ll do:
- Read topo and geologic maps and research ground online
- Trace ancient water through the desert
- See historic drift mines from a safe distance
- Dig test holes and calculate what the ground pays
- Set up and tune puffer and blower drywashers
- Work with classifiers, recirculators, water tables, and spiral wheels
- Learn basic metal detecting
- Watch a live gold melt demo
- and so much more!
Why this class is different:
- You keep the gold you recover
- Instructors teach the subjects they know best
- Bring your own drywasher or use one of ours
- You graduate with a Digger’s Gold Mining Academy Diploma as a Duisenburg Mastery Prospector
